No doubt you heard the countdown to the New Year and the supposedly new decade. However some of the math being used is faulty to say the least. Technically the new decade doesn’t start until 2011. In all seriousness, the New Millennium didn’t start with year 2000, it started with 2001. Remember in 1st grade when we were taught to count, we counted 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10.
