If you’re one of those people who scoff in disgust at the fad of wearing ones pants below their behind, you might identify with Larry. The 62-year-old Larry Platt auditioned for American Idol with hopes that he would get in. Unfortunately he more than doubled the age limit required to appear on the show (28). That hasn’t stopped him from becoming a hit online however.
In just 12-hours, a video of his performance on YouTube crossed the 150,000 view mark and is well on its way to 1,000,000. As Simon said after the audition, he expects to see Larry around sometime and after the success of soulja dad and with his remake of the ever so popular and stupid soulja boi song, we would be none too surprised if Larry got himself his own record deal. After all, there are thousands of 62-year-old gangsta’s who need someone their age to identify with.
